A reminder did not arrive
- Open the Settings tab in GTG Pro. Reminders on this device should be on, and Notifications should say Allowed.
- If Notifications says Off, open the Settings app on your device, find GTG Pro under Notifications, and allow them.
- Reminders only come inside the window on your plan, and never on a rest day or for a paused program.
- A Focus, such as Do Not Disturb or Sleep, can hold reminders back until it ends.
Logging a set
- From a reminder: touch and hold it, then tap Log. The set is saved without opening the app. Snooze brings the reminder back in 15 minutes.
- By hand: on the Today tab, tap Log a set. The reps start at your plan, and you can change them if you did more or fewer.
iPhone and iPad
- Programs and sets sync through your own iCloud. Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on both devices. There is no other account.
- The Settings tab shows the state of sync under iCloud, and when it last finished.
- Each device has its own Reminders on this device switch. Turn it off on any device that should stay quiet. Sets logged there still count.
Retests and your plan
- Every 14 days the app asks you to test your max again. The new max sets your reps for the next two weeks. You can keep your current reps instead if you need to.
- To change a plan, open the program and tap Edit. You can set the intensity from 30% to 80% of your max, 1 to 20 sets a day, the hours reminders may come, and your rest days.
- Pause program stops its reminders without losing anything. Paused programs are listed in the Settings tab, where you can resume them.
Deleting your data
- To remove one program and its history, open it, tap Edit, then Delete program. It is removed from your other devices too.
- Deleting the app removes everything it stored on that device.
- To remove the copy in iCloud, open the Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud, and delete GTG Pro's data under storage.
Training safely
Every set should feel easy. Stop while your form is still clean, never train to failure, and rest if anything hurts. If you have an injury or a health condition, ask a doctor or physiotherapist before you start. GTG Pro counts reps. It is not medical advice.
